Winterize your boat
We at SOS Elite Marine inc. want you to know that when we get freezing temps you boat is in danger of being damaged . This all call be avoided by taking a few simple steps. 1. Check and change your lower gear lube. If you have water in the lube when you drain it, it is time to reseal the gear case. If you don't fix it now at least fill it with new lube to prevent further damage.
2. Be sure to put fuel stabilizer in your fuel. and run the engine so it gets into the carburetor.
3. Than you should "fog" the engine. This is spraying the fogging oil into the carburetor . It will smoke a lot and then stall out. Then pull the spark plugs out and spray fogging oil into the cylinders .
4. Then you must make sure that there is no water in the engine and if you are not sure how , see a service tech. you can also run the engine while fogging in a tank with earth friendly anti freeze.
